Captain Apache (Lee Van Cleef) is a Native American U.S. Cavalry officer who is trying to decipher the phrase "April Morning". He knows that the meaning of the phrase will lead him to something critical but every time he gets close to figuring it out, he is veered off the path. Eventually he discovers that "April Morning" is the name of a train car that the U.S. President is to be assassinated on and he must take action.
